# Quick start

> Connect Storyworld to your AI app and make your first shot in a few minutes.

By the end of this page you'll have a Storyworld project and a first generated shot, made from a chat.

1. **Connect your AI app.** Follow the steps for your app on [Set up](/setup). It takes a couple of minutes, and you approve the connection once in your browser.

2. **Make your first call.** Paste this into your AI app:

```
Using Storyworld, list my projects. If I have none, create one called First Light and tell me what you set up.
```

   Your AI app lists your Storyworld projects, or makes you one called First Light.

3. **Make a project.** Make a folder on your computer for this project, open it in your AI app, and ask:

```
Create a new project called Test.
```

   Storyworld sets it up, with its Script, Sequences, Assets and Library. [See it in the tutorial](/tutorials/getting-started/storyworld-with-claude#make-a-folder-and-a-project).

4. **Make a shot.** Ask for one in plain words, for example:

```
Generate a video of a lighthouse keeper climbing the stairs at dusk, 16:9, realistic style.
```

   The shot appears in the chat and in your folder. [See it in the tutorial](/tutorials/getting-started/storyworld-with-claude#generate-shots-from-claude).
