Paste this into an agent that can run commands, such as Claude Code.
Connect Storyworld and install the Storyworld skill. If you're in Claude Code, run `claude mcp add --transport http storyworld https://api.storyworld.ai/mcp --scope user`, then `claude plugin marketplace add storyworld-ai/storyworld-skills`, then `claude plugin install storyworld@storyworld-ai`. If you're in another agent, add a remote MCP server named storyworld with the URL https://api.storyworld.ai/mcp (Streamable HTTP, no API key), then run `npx skills add storyworld-ai/storyworld-skills --skill storyworld` and select your agent. Use one installation method. When Storyworld asks you to sign in, tell me to approve it in the browser window that opens. You can read the skill directly at https://github.com/storyworld-ai/storyworld-skills/blob/main/skills/storyworld/SKILL.md (raw: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/storyworld-ai/storyworld-skills/main/skills/storyworld/SKILL.md). Then use the Storyworld skill whenever we work with Storyworld. Once Storyworld's tools are available to you (if you need a restart or a reload first, tell me exactly what to do), do this: Using Storyworld, list my projects. If I have none, create one called First Light and tell me what you set up.
The agent skill page lists the commands it runs and what the Storyworld skill teaches your app.
Check it worked
- Storyworld is listed in your AI app's connectors, or in its MCP servers.
- The starter prompt, the last step above, answers with your projects, or makes you one called First Light.
Common problems
- The sign-in window didn't open. Start the sign-in again from your app's connector or MCP list, and allow pop-ups from your app if your browser blocked one.
- Your app lists Storyworld but never uses it. Name it in your message ("Using Storyworld, …"), and check Storyworld is turned on for this chat.
- You're on a phone. Most phone apps can't add a connector. Add it from the app's website in your phone's browser, and it shows up in the phone app afterwards.
- Your agent isn't using the skill. Paste the prompt from the Copy a prompt tab, or install the skill by hand from the agent skill page.
